Sunmoon Pie - Jewish Kirtan

I'd like to introduce to this blog's visitors a wonderful Atlanta-based Jewish Kirtan group called "Sunmoon Pie". It consists of singer-songwriters-performers Bonnie Puckett and Michael Levine. They are innovators in a new movement of kirtan (responsive chanting of simple songs and melodies traditional to yoga) utilizing Hebrew phrases instead of Sanskrit mantras. A close correlate can be found in the Hasidic practice of "niggun". You can check them out at their website: www.sunmoonpie.com
